Milena was born and raised in San Pedro, California in a four-generation household of Croatian war refugees.

​

As such, she was expected to carry on the legacy of her family in achieving the American Dream. Milena attended New York University and studied at Columbia University as an undergraduate student (BA, 2012). She went on to attend the Drucker School of Management and Sotheby's Institute of Art, where she earned a specialized MBA in the Business of Fine Art (MAAB, 2015, Sigma Alpha Pi Honor Society). During her time in grad school, her interest in Personal Finance was first sparked as she collaborated with her cohort as the Drucker School Student Association VP of Events, immediately identifying a need for these services.

After grad school, Milena went on to have a successful career in the Fine Art sector, working as an art business consultant in: Europe, Asia, and North America.

Ultimately Financial Services harkened to her, leading to the founding of her own practice. Milena now specializes in comprehensive wealth management services for: Middle and Lower Class Americans, Union Workers, Police Officers, Educators, Immigrants, and First-Generation US Citizens.

 

Honors & memberships include: Association of Croatian American Professionals (Member); San Pedro City Ballet (Secretary & Member, Board of Directors); Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority (Alumna Member); TIME Magazine Tomorrow25 2007 Winner; Miss America Local Titleholder & Miss California State Finalist (2010-2013).
